Heatable working table made of tempered cast aluminum for thermal curing of synthetic resin with high demands on the evenness of the surface. The heated work surface is 3500 x 1500mm, the achievable continuous temperature is 125°C. In order to optimize the energy efficiency of the system, there are pivoting brackets above the table surface. These serve as a support for an insulating mat. This means that the system gets by with 18kW of power. The rigidity of the base frame is achieved through the use of 20mm thick cast aluminum struts and the 50mm thick table top. This almost completely prevents the table from sagging. The weight of this construction is 800kg.
The system is controlled by a Siematic S7 PLC. It can be used to program temperature profiles with up to 6 levels, in each of which a temperature can be linked to any length of time. Programming is carried out simply and intuitively directly on the touchscreen of the control cabinet next to the system.
